作为日赛谷丽思卡尔顿隐世酒店的nb雷竞技官网方，WATG用设计精准诠释出“丽思卡尔顿隐世”精神。受当地丰富多彩的自然环境和文化传统的启发，WATG在设计中运用了传统藏区建筑的元素。87 栋豪华别墅沿着崎岖山坡而建，同时布局多个公共观景台，营造出无与伦比的景观和私密感。从雄伟的山峰中汲取灵感，WATG为别墅建筑群设计了倾斜的屋顶，与周围异常崎岖的山景无缝融合。在设计中，我们也特别注重融入本地材料以及本土植物，以尊重该地区的特质，向当地的藏羌传统致敬。

WATG, as the mastermind behind the design of Rissai Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, skillfully captured and translated the essence of “Ritz-Carlton Reserve” into their creation. Drawing inspiration from the diverse nature and vibrant culture of the local area, WATG incorporated elements of traditional Tibetan architecture into their design. The 87 luxurious villas cascade gracefully along the rugged hillside, while multiple public viewing platforms are arranged to offer unrivaled scenery and privacy. Drawing inspiration from the majestic mountain peaks, the villas boast an angled shape that harmonizes with the extraordinary rugged landscape for a seamless blend. In a heartfelt tribute to the local Tibetan and Qiang traditions, great care has also been taken to integrate local materials and indigenous plants, honouring the spirit of the region.

“Jiuzhaigou’s rich natural environment, local Tibetan and Qiang culture and ancient semiotics have inspired numerous design elements and the resort’s overall planning,” explains Chiara Calufetti-Lim, Principal of Architecture at WATG Singapore. “As guests arrive, they will be warmly welcomed by a captivating water feature, allowing them to leave behind the demands of their hectic lives and enter a serene space. It is within this tranquil realm where a transformative journey of rejuvenation and discovery unfolds.” Notably, the design of the water feature draws its inspiration from the famed lakes found in the region.

To establish a harmonious connection between the different spaces, the main public complex was ingeniously organized as a Tibetan endless knot. This poetic interweaving signifies rebirth, where guests can emerge from feeling completely recharged, as Chiara describes.

Sustainable Design with Locally Sourced Materials

公共空间部分是与已故室内设计大师Jaya Ibrahim的合作。公共空间精心规划的布局创造出一种高端奢华的私密感，多个观景点的位置经过专门的研究，为客人提供无与伦比的广阔视野。

In a collaborative effort with the late interior designer Jaya Ibrahim, the public spaces have been thoughtfully arranged to evoke an intimate sense of exclusivity, with numerous lookout points strategically positioned to offer unmatched expansive views.

“我们精心处理主要建筑的布局和朝向，以利用和框出远处的景观。大堂的主窗/露台正对山谷尽头的雪峰，而中央区域的大部分窗户则聚焦于山谷对面的原生村落，营造出一种对话并加强场所感和归属感，”Chiara 介绍道。为了尊重周边环境，建筑的规模和排布经过深思熟虑，看起来就与传统村庄中经年累月的建筑群无异。

“We directed and positioned the main buildings to take advantage and frame the long views. The large lobby window/terrace is aligned with the snowy peaks at the end of the valley, while the majority of the windows of central areas focus on the existing villages across the valley, to create a dialogue and reinforce the sense of place and belonging,” said Chiara. To create a strong sense of place, the architecture’s scale and placement have been meticulously planned to resemble the age-old traditional village.

Local materials with a high level of refinement were also incorporated and showcased in a different light. “Local shists stones were applied as dry-stack stone walls that can be found in several areas of the region. The stone walls also symbolize good blessings associated with Tibetan Mani stones,” said Chiara. In the upper portion of the buildings some areas are finished to reference the local rammed earth walls found in this region typically used as a heat insulator. Timber decorative elements form the transition to the roof structures, framing the openings with traditional decorative patterns.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the architecture also integrates climate appropriate elements like massive walls that function as thermal mass and reduce temperature fluctuation as they store solar heat, as well as high performance glazing and green roofs. Every aspect of the resort’s impact on the natural environment has been carefully considered by WATG’s design team as they have interpreted the spirit of the brand throughout the design.
